Some people are feeling the sting of Tammy Haddads mobster-like
tactics this year as emails go unreturned and guests whove been
attending her White House Correspondents Garden Brunch for years are
getting the cold shoulder. As the invitation says, the party supports
CURE Epilepsy and the Miss America Foundation no doubt, incredibly
worthy causes, especially the first one.Parkeasy Electronics are
dedicated to provide chinamosaic.
Ive
been to every one of her parties and Ive written a check for every one
of her fucking charities, groused one ignored journalist who wasnt
invited this year after being a steadfast guest at the annual party for
many years. No explanation offered.
I dropped out of the whole
thing when Obama got elected and I began to despise the whole
Politico-MSNBC nexus, said a guest who has attended Tammys soire over
the years. Too ass kissy for me. And the sucking up to Axelrods wife?
Made me want to puke. I honestly cant even stand being around it,
especially when I think of all the people I genuinely like who I never
get to see because I have no time. And Im hanging out with tools
instead? No way.
She said her interests in attending were never
wholly about the party. I never planned to write about the brunch in the
first place, she said. I didnt consider it a story. If we don't carry
the bobblehead you want we can make a streetlight
for you! My interest in attending was to see what the event designers
did with Katharine Grahams house, because Mark had told me about it
before. Ive only been once before, when it was at the Haddad home, and I
found it too crowded and only OK. It is an example of the celebrity
wrangling and idolatry that is at the root of the disquiet among the
ranks of the WHCA. This year they bit back at the people who want to
make their dinner all about Hollywood.
As another journalist
told me, Hmmm might not be the best source on this one because I havent
been invited in a few years. But, is anything this weekend really
important to attend? I guess youd miss having an awkward conversation in
the bathroom line with some kid from Glee, but its not like careers
rise and fall based on party attendance.
We spoke to a wide
variety of journalists who were not invited to Tammys party this year as
well as some who were and will attend.Bay State parkingguidance
is a full line manufacturer of nylon cable ties and related products.
FishbowlDC is among the uninvited. In fact, we were pointedly told we
could not cover this afternoons Garden Brunch despite providing coverage
to readers for approximately the last seven years. Unfortunately, I
cant share all the gritty details due to an off-the-record
agreement.Which solarstreetlight
is right for you? But later in the story I can tell you what happened
last year when I received an invitation and went. As you can see by our
stories, the party has received largely glowing coverage. Last year,
when I covered it, was no exception.
Like Donovan, those who go
know they must never write anything lest it not be glowing. Do so at
your own peril. For the past few years press been penned into a
designated area outside the house. They are allowed in after, but once
theyre in, the guidance is that the festivities are off the record and
tweeting is discouraged.
In so far as all the hoopla surrounding
the Correspondents weekend is important to cover, then Tammys brunch is
too, its an integral piece of the festivities, said a journalist who
has attended a handful of times in recent years. But everyone knows the
pictures are the best part, so if youre wandering around with your
reporters notebook out looking for scandal, youre in the wrong place. My
sense was always that Tammy wanted lighthearted coverage and fun people
around, and if you knew her and you could offer that, then you were in.
Is it perfectly journalistic? No. Are you going to get in wearing jeans
and a T-shirt and lugging a TV camera? Probably not. But its her party,
so its up to Tammy how she wants to play it.
Gossip and feature
writers are an interesting lot at Tammys party. I asked Donovan if she
feels funny about never being able to cover a party like Tammys in
anything but a positive light. And if she didnt, would she be invited
back? I also asked about her earning a right to be there. After all, if
youre nice to Tammy all year long and dont ever write anything negative
about her (in other words, you dont cover her like an actual gossip
writer in New York or Los Angeles might) youre in.
Im not sure
about the negative coverage question, Donovan said. I try to avoid
negative energy. kind of a drain. As to the earn it question, not really
sure either, dont forget that I have been here a while so many of the
hosts are also personal friends.
Said a reporter on condition of
anonymity: Its sad, but inevitable. Reporters are almost at a
disadvantage in this town because there are too many of them so they end
up having to play by the rules dictated by those providing the
material. A press pen isnt ideal and its not exactly a great way to
engender good karma with the Fourth Estate but its hard to see this type
of thing going away.
Some compare Tammy to the Don Corleone of
party throwing. I actually tried for years not to go, said a former
guest who has gone for the past decade but wasnt invited back this year.
Believe it or not, this is a pretty civil town, the individual told us
on condition of anonymity. But you have douchebags running it who are
unfortunately duplicitous. Its just not good, ewww.
A journalist
described the party and Tammy like this: Shes kind of living on this
very old reputation, this crowd she seems to manage. You must not use
the moulds without
being trained. Weak people can be manipulated easily. The fear of being
alienated is the glue that holds this town together.
She wants
all this attention for this brunch, but she treats those who attend
badly, said another longtime attendee who, as of this writing late
Friday night, still hadnt received an invitation. The person was trying
to get into the brunch this week, but the outcome was iffy. As it was
last year for a bunch of people Tammy supposedly considered to be
friends. On the morning of the brunch, relayed our source, she called
and said, Ive got too many people, you cant come.
As for last
year, heres what happened to yours truly. A host I will refer to as The
Reasonable One invited me but lectured me beforehand. I was told in no
uncertain terms that I was not to write anything mean about Tammy. I was
told there were people who were not comfortable with my presence there,
but they were going to let me in anyhow providing I did as I was told. I
bristled at the journalistic principles brushing up against my soul,
but pushed them aside for what I thought might be the greater good of
going to the party and developing my sources. And yes Im being serious,
but also overly dramatic. Another part of me was like, who cares? Its
one party.
On the morning of the party, a blonde woman I will
refer to as Queen of the Clipboard Nazis, phoned and said it was urgent
that we speak. I didnt even know she was involved with the party, but
immediately thought I was being uninvited. So I did what a real gossip
reporter would do and didnt bother to call her back. If they wanted to
disinvite me, theyd have to do it at the gate and then Id write about
it. I was half hoping that would happen.
When I arrived I
approached the check-in desk with some trepidation. No one wants to be
told theyre not on the list its embarrassing. Sure enough, a less
powerful Clipboard Nazi told me I wasnt on the list and directed me to a
man in watermelon-hued trousers. I was kind of laughing to myself about
the ridiculousness of it all Im hardly a socialite but I proceeded to
chat amiably with the Watermelon Police. He was a smooth operator. He
asked who I was and who specifically had invited me. He didnt even
flinch. Right this way, he said, leading me to the cluster of
journalists penned up outside the house.

The other day, a participant in a TV talk show said that Imran Khan was the real wild card in the coming elections. Here's a complete list of cableties for the beginning oil painter. In Balochistan too, no single party can win a clear majority. Religious parties have a vote bank here and some nationalist leaders have returned to contest the polls. Sardar Akhtar Mengals party is contesting the polls and that is good omen for Balochistan and the federation.

A couple of days ago when Imran was about to address a public rally at Sheikhupura, the local police brought a bullet proof glass box for him. He told them to remove it as he perceived no threat.
Some analysts argue that Imran is fighting against a well-entrenched system. This system is based on the politics of patronage and status quo. The corrupt elite want to protect its political space to ensure protection of its economic interests. They have their tentacles in various political parties which take turns to rule the country. They have no interest in rooting out corruption for it makes them richer. They are not interested in imposing tax on agricultural incomes for that would make them poorer. They cooperate with each other based on the old maxim you scratch my back, Ill scratch yours.
Imran is competing against experienced parties. The Peoples Party has an experience of 45 years while the PML (N) has been in the game for 30 years now. They know ground realities better. Many Pakistanis, those in the rural side in particular, vote on tribal lines. The presence of various tribes in a particular constituency and their numerical strength are essential factors in the selection of candidates by various parties. Similarly, organising an election compaign is a fine art now. Apart from successful public rallies what is even more important is getting the potential voters to the polling station.
Political parties have dedicated workers in various localities to motivate the voters, transport them, providing them a meal and then transport them back home. Imran may be short of such experienced workers. He has raised the slogan of New Pakistan. According to his vision, this Pakistan would be free of corruption and oppression. He says he would give one education system to the entire country. His voice is like a whiff of fresh air for the people. He has given sleepless nights to Nawaz and Shahbaz sharif but they are not yet down and out. And those who are busy writing political obituaries of the PPP may also be proven wrong. It may not emerge as the top party this time but its de facto leader, Zardari, is smart in cobbling up post-election coalitions.

Ryan Markham and defending ALMS champion Brian Ruhlman would bring the field to the green in the 30-lap late model event with Ruhlman grabbing the lead. Henry, who started 7th, would drive into third by lap two and blast into second on lap three. On lap four, Henry would race inside Ruhlman to take the lead with VanWormer, running third. A caution on lap five for Ryan Missler and John Mayes Jr. would bunch the field up with the running order Henry, Ruhlman, VanWormer, Brandon Thirlby, Markham and Cody Scott.
When the green flew, Henry would pull away slightly as Ruhlman and VanWormer raced door to door for second. VanWormer would finally gain the advantage by lap eight and slowly closed on Henry. By lap 12, VanWormer raced to Henrys outside and the duo raced that way over the next four laps until VanWormer took the lead on the high side on lap 17.
With nine laps to go, Henry moved off the bottom and drove to the outside of VanWormer who was hung up trying to get through lapped traffic. The caution would fly for Chris Keller with Henry leading VanWormer, Ruhlman, Thirlby, Rusty Schlenk and 18th starter Matt Miller. When the green came back out, Henry would pull away slightly as both Miller and Schlenk drove around Thirlby. With five laps to go, Miller had caught VanWormer as they battled for second, allowing Henry to pull away.
In the 30-lap 410 sprint main, Phil Gressman and Reed would pace the field to the green with Gressman gaining the advantage over Reed, Smith, Jacobs, Mintz and Todd Heller. Amir Khan Wins A Brilliant Battle With Julio Diaz
Diaz was just the opposite. He had to take the time to pick up on the
tendencies of his opponent in order to throw calculated, forceful
combinations. The 33-year-old has a flat-footed, power punching style
that leads itself to wins by knockout and losses by decision.
The strength of Diaz was exhibited in his stunning knockdown late in the fourth. An miningtruck is a term used for a network of devices used to wirelessly locate objects.Explore online some of the many available selections in lasercutter. The round began as a continuation of the third with Khan successfully bouncing around Diaz while popping in quick combinations. Then Diaz caught up with Khan and caught him with a crushing left hook, that dizzied the Brit, immediately followed with another to finish him off.
Khan recovered well. Even though he looked hurt when he went down he jumped up quickly and finished the round smart. The 26-year-old did not engage Diaz for the rest of the round, just jabbing off his back foot and using the full girth of the ring.
The knockdown in fact seemed to enliven Khan and put him on the offensive. He came right at Diaz in the fifth and dominated the next three rounds. Diaz was able to land a few big shots during these rounds but was fighting in spurts and not landing many clean punches. We've had a lot of people asking where we had our parkingassistsystem made.
In the final minute of the eighth round Diaz got Khan against the ropes and seemed to hurt him. The veteran Mexican brawler saw red and hunted down Khan for the rest of the round but was not able to bring him down.If you are looking for iphoneheadset for your bathroom walls. Diaz came out in the ninth seeming to have tired himself with the rampage and took the round off.
The tenth round revealed that Diaz was only taking a rest. He rocked Khan about 30 seconds into the round with yet another combination of hooks and it appeared that Khan would be on the mat soon. Khan wobbled his way around the ring looking like a toddler taking its first steps, bound to fall at any moment.
Some how he stayed on his feet not only after this encounter but for two more rounds of continued punishment from Diaz. At times Khan did fall back on his old ways: standing toe-to-toe against his opponent after being stunned. What made the difference in this fight was Khans ability to understand the err in his ways and use his strengths to avoid trouble, even if at times it took a little knocking around for him to figure out.
"The letters are very helpful, and not just in the individual cases," said Deborah Jeon, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland. She said the letters help outline policy changes that police departments should make.
Last month, the Department of Justice sent a letter to the U.S. District Court in Maryland in the case of Garcia v. Montgomery County supporting the rights of a photojournalist who was arrested for taking pictures of on-duty police officers, and is now suing.
The other letter was issued in 2012 to the same court in the case of Sharp v. Baltimore City Police Department urging the court to rule in favor of Sharp, the plaintiff. The Justice Department later sent the police department a letter criticizing its policy on recording police officers and outlining changes the department should make.
In the more recent case, Mannie Garcia, a freelance photographer, was arrested in June 2011 in Wheaton by Montgomery County Police officers for disorderly conduct after he photographed officers arresting two men and using what Garcia said in court documents to be "excessive force."
According to the lawsuit Garcia filed claiming false arrest, malicious prosecution and battery, he identified himself as press to the police, and complied with their request to move back from the scene. Despite doing so he was arrested, thrown to the ground and dragged across the street, the complaint said.
The letter clearly states that citizens have a First Amendment right to record officers in public, and that officers violate Fourth and 14th amendment rights when they seize recordings without granting citizens due process.
"The right to record police officers while performing duties in a public place, as well as the right to be protected from the warrantless seizure and destruction of those recordings, are not only required by the Constitution, they are consistent with our fundamental notions of liberty, promote the accountability of our governmental officers, and instill public confidence in the police officers who serve us daily."

Grow Your Own
Grow Your Own: ready,Learn how an embedded microprocessor in a smartcard can authenticate your computer usage and data. set... sow
If this is your first year of Grow Your Own, then little and often is a good maxim to follow. Theres many a time in my early days of growing that Id sow a whole packet of seeds and then have 100 beetroot or lettuce all ready at the same time. You can expect some seeds not to germinate or to get nipped off by your resident slug or cutworm, so it pays to sow a little extra C but dont go overboard.Shop for fridgemagnet dolls from the official NBC Universal Store and build a fun collection for your home or office.
Because one of the least wonderful things about GYO (after the slugs) is the glut of produce you get if you dont phase your growing over the whole season. Youll need more friends than my children have on Facebook to be able to get rid of your glut, especially as everyone seems to have a glut of the same thing at the same time.
If you are clever, there are all sorts of ways you can cut costs. The first way is to sow direct into the soil C preparing a patch of land for growing to what is called a fine tilth (no stones, no weeds, texture like fine breadcrumbs) and sowing your seeds direct onto that. We tend not to use this method because our growing season in really short and our slugs are really active so starting off all except the hardiest plants under cover means we can grow more and longer.
If you cant sow direct either, dont despair! Empty 1 litre juice cartons (the ones you cant recycle with normal cardboard because of the plastic lining) with one side cut away and between ten to twenty 2mm holes poked in the opposite side make perfect and totally free seed trays. And you can tuck your seed packet into the V of the spout so you know what you planted. It is also possible to use newspaper to origami your way towards free biodegradable pots C children especially like doing this (well, at least for the first thirty or so). No need to ship in biodegradable coir pots from the tropics via your garden centre when you have all the pots youll ever need sitting in your recycling bin. And then there are those stalwarts of the DIY plant pot world C the sturdy loo roll cardboard tubes we discussed last week.
Compost is another thing altogether. I would always recommend organic because I believe its best for the soil, for wildlife and for the rest of the natural world including the human bits of it. It is possible to make your own compost - before the rise of the garden centre, gardeners had no option but to make their own - but its never something Ive tried. Partly because I love the idea of growing my food in a living soil with lots of beneficial microbes. For DIY compost Id need to sterilise the soil to kill off the weed seeds, but then the bugs would go too. But also because its possible to use too strong a compost for the delicate thing that is seed germination and the perfect recipe for seed compost has so far eluded me - if you have one youd recommend, let me know!
So I tend not to cut costs on compost. And I prefer organic seeds too (you wouldnt believe all the chemical treatments non-organic seeds get before they go into the seed packet) but where possible, I save my own seeds from previous years or share seeds with other organic growers.
Sowing couldnt be easier. Just about every packet of seeds has full sowing instructions, so follow those and you cant go far wrong. A simple rule of thumb is to cover the seeds, once sown into your soil or seed tray,Find a great selection of customkeychain deals. with about the same depth of soil as the size of the seed C so fine seeds like carrot will only need a very fine layer of compost to cover them, tough old brutes like beetroot will have a bit more. Big fruit seeds (cucumber, pumpkin and courgettes) can rot if you lay them flat on the soil, so always plant them on their side.
A long time ago someone (probably one of those old gardeners that made all their own compost) taught me to water the compost before sowing the seeds on it C he claimed it stops the top layer of compost forming a crust which could make it harder for the seeds to break through.
Given how vital and tough some seeds are, Im not sure I always believe him, but I liked his style so I do it anyway. He taught me to treat young seedlings like babies and toddlers. Treat them well and with kindness and you get the most amazing adults, neglect or mistreat them and they never fully recover. Its not a bad analogy and I admire his idea of gardening with kindness.

Both Tescher and Pinsky say that the problem of the unbanked is simultaneously getting better and worse. On the other hand, financial innovations hold out a lot of hope for underserved communities. Pre-paid debit cards, once prohibitively expensive, have come down in cost dramatically. Meanwhile, the variety of alternative money systems that are evolving, such as cell phone payment methods, might provide a genuine alternative to unbanked Americans.

The RuPauls Drag Race Recap: Floored Her in the Court
Seeing Detox get sent home was tough, but hearing Roxxxy complain
afterward is even tougher. Her whining makes me want to abandon her at a
bus stop. (Too soon?) Not that shes content to keep her negative
emotions to herself. Like peanut butter, she has negativity to spread
around, and I bet youll never guess who she shares it with. Jinkx! (Did
you shout that at your screen like Dora the Explorer? Please say you
did.) If you love hearing a bitter underperformer snipe at her highly
praised rival, then this is just the broken record for you! While the
others squabble, Alaska perches sourly on a table like a hairless cat
that is none too happy to have been dressed in frilly panties. Were in a
bad mood today, arent we, Miss Kitty? Does someone need a treat?
The following day,Print your business' promotional lasercutter with your own customizations and graphics. spirits are no brighter. Detox manages to throw shade from beyond the grave by pointedly not leaving a note for Jinkx, though Roxxxy dives in with the assist by narrating what she assumes would have been written.Cheap logo engraved luggagetag at wholesale bulk prices. Its a good thing she found drag, because shes not cut out for the greeting card industry. Ru, of course, would be a natural. Her final installment in this seasons series of SheMail videos makes me wish she would drag up all my communications. Like, imagine how much better work emails would be. Hell,The largest manufacturer of textile indoorlite for use with perchloroethylene. theres not even room for a workroom appearance in Rus schedule, so she sends Michelle Visage on her behalf. The Noisy from Joisey explains that the girls will face a trilogy of trials not quite as epic and gay as The Lord of the Rings.
First, theyll perform choreography for a The Beginning music video, because iTunes downloads are the only things keeping the lights on at Logo headquarters. Next, theyll get all split personality and portray witness, defense attorney, and prosecutor in three courtroom scenes. Last on the docket is the chance to make their case in front of the panel (nay, the nation!), explaining why they deserve the custom-made crown. Roxxxy chimes in that this is the chance shes been waiting for. Delicate flower that she is, shes just been too shy and demure to ever suggest that she should win and everyone else should go home. Certainly, no cameras were ever around to document such sentiments constantly escaping her lips.
The dance lesson with Candis Cayne yields predictable problems for Alaska, who is so uneasy on her feet that I suspect she might be a clever ruse by the kids from the Snickers commercial. At least Jinkx joins her in the underdog category when hairography gets introduced. (Glee technically introduced it first, but whatever.) When youre getting a mouthful of synthetic wig crammed down your throat by a person-sized fan, its nice to have company. The video shoot holds no surprises other than the fact that its being directed by George R. R. Martins malnourished younger brother. Roxxxy can lip sync at lightning speed while whipping her chiffon back and forth, and Jinkx can at least hold her own, but Alaska is as far from success as her namesake is from the contiguous 48 states.
Theres also some business with a convertible. Basement Santa explains that theyll be driving to Heaven, but his sunken psychopath eyes suggest that itll be more like Thelma & Louise than Grease.
No season would be complete without a Tic Tac luncheon, so Ru takes a brief moment to check in with each of her girls and make sure shes wrung them absolutely dry of dramatic possibilities. Jinkx realizes that her MILF character might have evolved to fill the void left by her absent mother figure, which sounds Norman Bates-ier than she maybe intended. Roxxxy reasserts her desire to represent the big girls, though the big girls in my apartment have vociferously rejected her offer. Smart little Alaska made sure to save a few tears for the end, though, and throws down some doom and gloom about her fear of dying. I hope it was just strategy; shes not dying, is she?
Since the final challenge will involve delivering a closing argument, each of the ladies also gets to meet with Gloria Allred. The gravity with which the legendary lawyer approaches her task threatens to implode the Silver Lounge, but she manages to give each participant some sound advice before structural integrity is compromised. You must not use the bestsmartcard without being trained.
Next, were finally given the Judge Rudy trial reenactment weve been promised since this seasons first preview. Roxxxys limited range is immediately apparent; while her competitors depict Cher on Klonopin and chicken-fried Lucille Ball, shes delivering innovative flavors like me and bitch. Meth-Addicted Saruman is unimpressed.
Afterward, Roxxxy knows she did poorly and spews a manic diatribe attempting to justify the failure. Her assertion that she takes drag too seriously to ever laugh at it is so blatantly ridiculous that the other two cant even find it insulting. Plus, its tough to see her as a threat when shes wearing her make-up dress. Which, by the way, must reek by now. I hope the Pit Crew scrubs that thing on their washboard abs after everyone goes home at night.
On the catwalk,We have been manufacturing ceramictile for the past fifty years and have supplied a considerable number. each contestant gives her final look and speech. Roxxxy, in green and purple paisley sequence, says she hopes children will look up to her (and, implicitly, not run away screaming). Her strengths, she explains, are grace and professionalism, which she shows by interrupting Alaska later. Jinkxs look is a little bland, but her story about being an outcast and an underdog who has learned to adapt feels heartfelt. Otherworldly Alaska lays down fashion freakiness with her white lace gown and browless make-up look while rousing the crowd with a stirring oration about how she turns tragic to magic, trash to treasure, and Party City to well, that stays Party City.
And thats pretty much it. The deliberation is inconclusively even-handed and the lip sync to Rus single is excitement-free. We wont know who wins for another two weeks! Im suddenly able to understand Alaskas preoccupation with an early demise. What if something kills me before the finale? Im pretty clumsy.

Lisa Murkowski Unveil Bipartisan Campaign Finance Bill
The bill, known as the Follow the Money Act, would require any and
all groups spending at least $10,000 on electoral activity to register
and disclose contributions above $1,000. The bill would also raise the
threshold for contributor disclosure from $200 to $1,000 for all
political committees, including those of candidates and political
parties.
In the 2012 election cycle, at least $400 million was spent by "dark money" groups not required to disclose their donors, especially tax-exempt organizations such as trade associations and social welfare nonprofits.
In a press conference to announce the Follow the Money Act, Wyden said that the bill would end "the flagrant abuses of federal tax laws by political operatives masquerading as tax exempt social welfare organizations."
"The legislation is built on the same principles that make our financial markets work," he said.Find the best selection of high-quality collectible ultrasonicsensor available anywhere. "Markets move on information and transparency,We offer over 600 parkingsystem at wholesale prices of 75% off retail. and everybody's got to play by the same rules."
Previous efforts to pass legislation to address Citizens United and related court decisions have faltered in the face of united Republican opposition. In 2010,Laser engraving and laser parkingassistsystem for materials like metal, the proposed Disclose Act failed to clear a Republican filibuster by one vote, and in 2012, Republicans twice came together to filibuster a streamlined version of that bill.
Murkowski, who has long been seen as a potential supporter for the Disclose Act, said about the Follow the Money Act, "This is a bill that is designed to be bipartisan. This is a bill that is designed to be even across the board."
Republicans and some business and conservative groups had argued that the Disclose Act would have exempted unions while requiring corporations to disclose their campaign spending. We've had a lot of people asking where we had our lanyard made. The first iteration of the House bill did include, by amendment, a partial exemption that would have applied to some union contributions. However, this provision was removed from the Senate bill. The second version, twice filibustered, did not include an exemption for any union spending.
In explaining her decision to work with Wyden to craft the Follow the Money Act, Murkowski alluded to her own 2010 campaign. Independent conservative groups poured in money to defeat her in the Republican primary, and she ultimately had to win reelection as a write-in candidate.
"We've all had to go through an election," Murkowski said. "Some of us have been the beneficiary of some of this independent expenditure activity. Some of us have been on the receiving end of some pretty directed campaigns.A solarpanel is a plastic card that has a computer chip implanted into it that enables the card."
"When liberals talk about 'transparency', that isn't what they mean," Cleta Mitchell, chairwoman of the American Conservative Union Foundation, said in a statement. "What they really want and what this bill provides is a target list of conservatives who have the temerity to contribute their after tax dollars to support candidates and issues the left hates."
"The bill would not be bipartisan in any serious sense of the term," Brad Smith, president of the Center for Competitive Politics and a former Federal Election Commission (FEC) chairman, said in a statement. "Like far too many proposals and laws to regulate political speech, it would be a partisan bill aimed at discouraging voices that one side sees as hostile to their interests, and that Senator Murkowski is angry at for opposing her in her defeat in a Republican primary."
In addition to expanding disclosure of independent group spending and reducing the contribution disclosure threshold, the Follow the Money Act would create a system of real-time disclosure, require independent groups to abide by "Stand By Your Ad" provisions (including the identification of their top three donors), require senators to file campaign reports electronically, require tax-exempt 527 groups to file disclosure reports with the FEC (instead of the Internal Revenue Service), and direct the FEC and IRS to work together to craft and enforce regulations.
If this turns out to be the season that Wrexham finally return to the Football League through a second successful Wembley outing of the year, a glass will be raised to the Welsh FA members who sat on David Artells disciplinary appeal panel.
It was their decision to rescind a red card shown to Artell at Mansfield Town on Saturday that enabled the veteran defender to start against Kidderminster Harriers.
And he crowned an outstanding victory by scoring a crucial first goal for the Dragons in the first leg of a play-off semi-final that is finely balance ahead of next Sundays return at Aggborough.
But for the first time in their three attempts to escape the Conference by the diversionary route Wrexham will be looking to defend a lead.
It was no more than they deserved after outplaying a Harriers outfit that had won 25 of their previous 29 matches, including the two league clashes against the Dragons.
Had their finishing been a bit more clinical, the home sides fans could have been making their travel arrangements to Wembley but the longer the match went on, the prospect of a reply from the visitors was always on the cards.
It needed a penalty, though, to haul Harriers back into the game and even that failed to douse the Dragon s fire, their enterprising approach winning the second penalty of the night that was confidently dispatched by Neil Ashton.
Artell was one of only two survivors from the starting line-up at the One Call Arena C the other was the versatile Johnny Hunt, a full back against the Stags, but employed in a left-sided attacking role alongside veteran duo Brett Ormerod and player-manager Andy Morrel.

Canelo graduates to true champion
Alvarez was the victor, and probably deservedly so at the end of 12
intense and skillfully fought rounds -- although he surely didn't win by
anything like the 118-109 card handed in by judge Stanley
Christodoulou. But although a seventh-round knockdown of Trout -- the
first of the American's career -- will likely be the most-played
highlight, it was Alvarez's jab, movement, counterpunching and defense
that were at least as effective in securing the win.
"He shocked me with his game plan," Trout said in the ring afterward. "We prepared for a totally different fight. We tried to press the action and change things, but he kept changing."
Although the opening round seemed clearly to go to Trout, as Canelo essentially followed his opponent and watched him through a high guard, and the second seemed to clearly go for Alvarez, who closed the distance and upped the pressure, few of the remaining 10 were obviously in favor of one man or the other. Alvarez, having scored effectively in that second frame, became home run-happy over the next couple, enabling Trout to bank some points.
But even so, there was a sense that two conflicting narratives were unfolding: one in which Trout was taking the small battles, the other where Alvarez was winning the war. Trout rat-a-tatted his way to some early rounds (except, it seems, on the Christodoulou card), but the Mexican star appeared unbothered by his punches. And on those occasions when Trout turned aggressor, attempting to unleash combinations with his opponent's back against the ropes, Canelo showed effective head movement to neutralize the assault. It was as if a python, having clutched its prey in his coils, was unconcerned that its victim was biting it in a desperate effort to make it let go.We offer over 600 parkingsystem at wholesale prices of 75% off retail.
Strangely, Canelo's most passive period came in the immediate aftermath of that seventh-round knockdown, a straight right hand that dropped Trout to the seat of his pants. Trout recovered strongly in the second half of that round and appeared to clearly win the eighth, as Canelo gave the impression of being gassed. But like a driver downshifting before beginning an assault on uphill terrain, Alvarez simply reloaded. The first two-thirds of the fight, closely fought,Explore online some of the many available selections in solarlamp. had been essentially the prologue. The last third of the contest was the final examination, and Alvarez, confident he had completed all his assignments, appeared completely comfortable in coasting to the finish.
Trout continued to throw punches, to show that as well as a boxer, he is a fighter, but they had little behind them. And by the end, even his jab -- his key weapon -- was second-best to the one thrown by Alvarez.
"Austin Trout was a difficult fighter, but I was smart," Canelo said through a translator afterward. "Little by little, I figured out how to fight him. My jab was perfect. It was the key."
There was another question during the build-up to the fight: whether Canelo,We've had a lot of people asking where we had our lanyard made. if he won, was poised to become a genuine star, whether he had what it took in and out of the ring to pull himself up to another level. And on fight night itself, officially 39,247 raised the roof of the Alamodome, cheering lustily every time Alvarez so much as twitched an eyebrow. In the ring, although his victory might be stained somewhat by the one aberrant scorecard, Canelo showed enough versatility and ability to suggest his status as a boxer might be approaching his standing as a young icon.
"I was so proud of him," said Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer. "We saw a little bit of everything. He boxed, his footwork was amazing, the way he made Trout miss. In every category, he was the better man. We always knew he was a star, but tonight he showed he is not only one of the most popular fighters in the world, he is also one of the best. A touch above a laptop screen
Let's admit it: Love it or hate it, Windows 8 was designed for touch
screens. Its new facade, the colourful quilt of square tiles that I call
TileWorld, was born for finger operation.
Unfortunately, most PCs don't have touch screens C "yet", says Microsoft, which insists that their time is coming. On the premise that Microsoft knows what it's talking about, one company after another has been introducing new computers, mostly laptops, with built-in touch screens for Windows 8.
Many of these machines have screens that flip, twist, rotate or detach so that you can use them either as laptops or as tablets. The HP Envy x2, Lenovo Yoga, Lenovo Helix, Dell XPS 12, Asus Vivo Tab, Asus Transformer Book and the Acer Iconia W510 all fall into this category.
That's not true of Microsoft's own Surface Pro, which packs Intel's powerful i5 processor. When I reviewed this sleek, attractive tablet/PC in February, I noted that it was an incredibly well-executed hybrid. It's a half-inch-thin, 1 kilogram tablet, but the kickstand in back and the keyboard/screen cover in front let you turn it into a real Windows desktop PC in seconds. Its limitations are a feeble battery, undersize keyboard and limited storage (only 23 gigabytes in the $US900 model).
Which brings us to this piece of reader mail, which arrived shortly after that column was published: "How could you write about the Surface Pro without mentioning the Samsung Ativ PC Pro ($US1200)? It has the same Intel processor as the Surface Pro, but much better battery life, bigger screen, bigger keyboard, 1080p screen and more storage. Yet it's still under 2 pounds [1 kilogram].Elpas Readers detect and forward 'Location' and 'State' data from Elpas Active RFID Tags to host besticcard platforms."
My jaw dropped. It's obvious that Microsoft had put every droplet of engineering talent it had into the Surface Pro. It's Microsoft's shining golden boy, its proof that Windows 8 isn't a tragic misfire. Could Samsung really have something better already?
The full name of the machine he was describing is the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T, which at 18 syllables sounds as if it were named by the federal government. It's a laptop whose screen detaches, becoming a tablet, when you press a release button and tug.We provide payment solutions in the USA as well as ventilationsystem. Awkwardly enough, in laptop mode, the detach button covers up the Windows button used to open Windows 8's Start screen. In laptop mode, you have to use the Windows key on the keyboard instead.
Yes,This model includes 2 flush mounted reverse solarstreetlight. the Samsung weighs less than 1 kilogram, but that's the weight of the detached screen (the tablet) alone. With the keyboard attached, the whole thing weighs 1.6 kilograms. So right off the bat, this machine isn't comparable to the Surface Pro, which weighs less than 1 kilogram for everything.
All of the Smart PC Pro's guts C battery, processor, memory, cameras and so on C are in the screen. They make the top half of the laptop weirdly heavier and thicker than the bottom half, which contains only the keyboard. In other words, in laptop mode, the whole thing is top-heavy.
Some rival detachable-screen laptops are even more top-heavy C the screen portion flops away from you at the slightest touch. Then again, some of the Samsung's competitors also incorporate a second battery in the keyboard base. That helps with both battery life and weight distribution.
When you detach the screen, the tablet in your hands feels off. It's too thick, too heavy, too plasticky; the iPad and the Surface have spoiled us. And it's a wide, thin rectangle that suits movies well but feels ridiculous when turned 90 degrees. You feel as if you're holding a diving board.
The other unattractive aspect of this design is that both halves of the machine are, in effect, the ugly "bottom." Both the underside of the keyboard and the back of the tablet bear the usual painted-on paragraph of FCC notices and logos; the back of the tablet also bears an archipelago of unattractive flaps, vents and stickers. Where were the designers of Samsung's gorgeous, thin,Laser engraving and laser parkingguidance for materials like metal, real laptops when this thing was sketched out?
The screen is crisp and bright; it offers 1080p resolution, the highest kind of high definition. It's a touch screen, of course, intended for use with your fingers,Online shopping for solarpanelcells. but there's also a plastic stylus tucked away near a corner. You can use that pen for making handwritten notes and for navigating Samsung's homegrown suite of Windows programs, like the baffling S-Note document-making app.
You can project the screen image to a TV or projector either through a cable (micro HDMI) or wirelessly, using WiDi. That's a technology that, like Apple's AirPlay, requires a $100 receiver connected to the TV or projector.
The speed of this machine is excellent; it's about what you'd expect from a high-end ultrabook, or from Microsoft's Surface Pro. And there's no denying the pleasure and utility of being able to run real Windows software C your Photoshops, your Quickens, your iTunes C on a touch-screen tablet. Of course, as a Windows 8 machine, this device also runs the new-style, full-screen TileWorld apps; the Samsung comes with several preinstalled, like Netflix and Amazon Kindle Reader.
Samsung says the Smart PC offers an eight-hour battery; in the real world, five hours is more like it. That's better than the Surface Pro but still nothing like the all-day life you'd get from a real laptop. You'd also get longer battery life, and pay hundreds less, for hybrids with Intel's Atom processor instead. But that chip is much, much slower.
No question about it: The Samsung beats the Surface Pro in a few categories. You get a keyboard with more spacious keys and deeper travel. You get a bigger screen (11.6 inches versus 10.6). You get more storage. And you can adjust the screen angle on the Samsung; the built-in kickstand on the Surface has a fixed angle. That said, the Samsung's hinge doesn't permit as wide a screen angle as real laptops do.
Worse, you're paying full laptop-plus-tablet price for a machine that's not especially good at being either one. For the $US1200 you'd pay for this Samsung, you could get a very nice laptop that doesn't leave out laptoppy features like an Ethernet jack and a full-size slot for your camera's memory card.
Those compromises aren't Samsung's special achievement, by the way; just about all of the hybrid laptop/tablets have the same problem. Adding a touch screen and a detaching or hinging mechanism can't help adding weight, bulk, complexity and price. Something's gotta give.
Word on the street is that neither Windows 8 nor Microsoft's Surface tablets are selling very well. It's a safe bet that the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T won't turn that trend around. That goes triple for its lower-powered, less expensive sibling, the 500T.
In other words, it may be that computer shoppers aren't especially interested in paying a steep price C in dollars, features and looks C for the ability to turn their laptops into tablets or vice versa. It wouldn't be the first time that manufacturers were more excited about a category than their customers turned out to be.

North Jersey library director hopes smart phone
The township library has launched a smart-phone and tablet
application that enables users to get into the electronic catalog, renew
borrowed books and place holds on other books. It also connects them to
New Jerseys digital library, where they borrow e-books and scan
bookstore ISBN codes to see if Waynes collection carries the book before
they decide to buy it. The Bergen County Cooperative Library System
plans to release a similar app this summer.
"The number of smart-phone users is constantly going up,Choose the right bestluggagetag in an array of colors." said Robert White, director of the consortium of 73 local libraries in Bergen and Hudson counties. "We have to do something to meet their needs."
In my 10 years of putting together mock drafts, never has there been a more frustrating sense of non-committal amongst the teams drafting in the top 10 as there is in 2013. In fact, there is a startling lack of clarity in the intentions of all 32 teams,You can order besthandsfreeaccess cheap inside your parents. which is a mild upset with less than a week to go until draft day (set to kickoff Thursday, April 25th and continue through the weekend). Even the team drafting at the very top, the Kansas City Chiefs, have provided little insight into the direction they intend to go when their name is in lights on the Radio City Music Hall scoreboard.
While my annual mock drafts are the standard exhibition of guesswork that defines most every other mock you will come across, typically there is some sense of confidence in at least a dozen of the picks that make those projections feel right (even though just as typically only half of those dozen turn out to be dead on). Needless to say, that feeling is far less prevalent in this installment, making any effort in soothsaying teams' selections more guttural urge than fact-based assessment.
Such a challenge would shrink a mere mortal draftnik, forcing said draft aficionado into a back-alley existence where sating his passion for pick prognostication consists of semi-anonymous blog posts and wordy e-mails to his football-loving buddies. But this will not be the path I take. In fact, as I eschewed hours of quality family time in favor of poring over scouting reports, historic reviews of team tendencies, and DVR'd highlights of the Senior Bowl practice week and NFL Scouting Combine, I actually came to enjoy the mystery that is the 2013 draft. And yes, I am fully aware that this is a telling commentary of the existence I carve out: mediocrity buoyed by attention to irrelevant detail and a passion for the mundane and inconsequential facets of a football career that will forever elude me.
Before I get into the picks, I would be remiss not to mention that, though I took a year off from posting my mock draft on this site, my last attempt at this resulted in a hard-earned victory in Sports Central's impromptu Draft Challenge. Sadly, it does not appear that there will be a rematch in 2013, as my able-bodied foil is not available to submit a mock draft of his own. While disappointed by this unfortunate reality (for all of the back-and-forth slander we cast at one another, I found the competition provided an interesting lean on the event), I still boastfully submit that my mock remains the most accurate (non-professional) assessment on the market and as such I offer a full refund should my picks not support this assertion.
As always, my three-round mock draft includes the added rigor of projecting draft-day trades and includes a detailed write-up of all first round picks, first picks for those teams not picking in round one, and a select few other selections that interest me for whatever reason. On to my projections...
For all the information not coming out of Kansas City, nothing is more telling than one of the few tidbits that have emerged during the lead in to the draft: KC hasn't brought either top tackle in for an interview. For a savvy veteran like Andy Reid, this is not an accident. Smart money says that it is one of those two offensive tackles that Reid is targeting, and Joeckel is the more polished of the two and should be able to step in and start right away.
Most draft prognosticators see Dion Jordan as a better fit teams employing a 3-4 defense than those that lineup in a 4-3 style. That may be true, but two other truths about Jordan's game is he is pretty widely accepted as the best pass rusher available and he is no slouch in pass coverage, either, at times even lining up to defend the slot receiver during his time in Oregon.
The Jags totaled just over 20 sacks a year ago, so there is little doubt they will be looking to improve upon that aspect of their defense through this draft, making Jordan a player of interest to be sure simply on those merits. Another factor that some are overlooking is that new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, while technically a proponent of the 4-3 defensive look, actually employs more of a hybrid scheme and a rangy, long edge rusher is a key component in that scheme.
Geno Smith is a possibility here, but it just doesn't seem like a smart move for new coach Chip Kelly in his first draft as the Eagles head man. Vick did struggle at times last year (okay, that was generous,You can order besthandsfreeaccess cheap inside your parents. he struggled constantly last year), but he is still very popular as a player than you can sense that the Eagles faithful are excited to see their ultra-mobile QB in an offense that suits his frantic style, at least on paper. They also have an adequate backup QB in Nick Foles, though admittedly he isn't nearly the fit for the up-tempo style Kelly promises to bring to town.
But more than those two factors, the availability of similarly mobile quarterbacks later in this draft (such as Florida State's E.J. Manuel) tells me that reaching for Smith would be a tough sell for the PR department to make. Lotulelei, who has received all the medical clearances he needs to settle those who have him on their radar (Star had a scare at the NFL Combine where tests should an irregularity in his heart,Elpas Readers detect and forward 'Location' and 'State' data from Elpas Active RFID Tags to host besticcard platforms.Elpas Readers detect and forward 'Location' and 'State' data from Elpas Active RFID Tags to host besticcard platforms. but later tests revealed it was likely caused by dehydration and a virus he was fighting at the time), is a safe pick and a good fit as a five-technique DE in Philly's new 3-4 scheme.

Canadians find value in loyalty programs
Whether we're grocery shopping or buying gas, coffee, a light bulb or
cosmetics, cashiers ask if we have a loyalty card or offer to sign us
up to a loyalty program.
Canadians are joining loyalty programs in droves. Year after year, statistics show our love affair with collecting and redeeming loyalty rewards continues to grow. According to the findings of the Colloquy Loyalty Census in 2011, there were almost 121 million active loyalty program members in the country across different programs, up six per cent from the census taken two years earlier.
Carlos Dunlap,The need for proper bestsmartcard inside your home is very important. editorial director of Colloquy, a LoyaltyOne research group, anticipates the 2013 census "will likely show a further six per cent rise in active memberships, based in part on the ongoing commitment of companies, particularly in the retail sector, to make their loyalty programs more relevant and appealing to consumers."
"Loyalty cards are a mainstay in people's wallets," says Patrick Sojka, founder of Rewards Canada, an online resource for Canadians to find information and bonus offers related to travel rewards. Whether they are using plastic cards belonging to a national program or a punch card at their local gelato store, "people are discerning," he says. "They want to know they are getting value for the effort they put into participating in a program."
Clients look for value, notes Stephen Menon, associate vice-president, North American credit cards and merchant services, TD Canada Trust, "but also for simplicity and flexibility that rewards their efforts." The new TD Cash Back MasterCard, for instance, "allows consumers to earn 0.75 per cent on every purchase and redeem, with a $25 minimum, whenever they choose," he says. As the loyalty market has matured and grown, so too have the ways to earn rewards and the kinds of rewards that can be redeemed.
At Aeroplan, for instance, more than 90 per cent of members collect miles for travel, says David Klein, vice-president, marketing and innovation. But to further serve its customers, Aero-plan launched a digital media store in 2012 where members can turn miles into media downloads, a loyalty industry first in Canada.
In February, the Air Miles for Social Change program added to its list of ways to earn rewards by partnering with the federal government and 15 YMCAs across Canada. The partnership enables families to earn Air Miles reward miles in ways that encourage physical activity, such as registering their children for day camps, using participating fitness facilities or buying YMCA memberships.
Identifying other recent trends in loyalty programs, Klein cites initiatives that engage Aeroplan members through social media and gamification. These initiatives "inject an element of fun into earning the miles," he says.
In its 2013 incarnation, the Star Challenge program introduced last year allows members to earn miles by shopping and utilizing services of Aeroplan partners through engagement on Aeroplan's Facebook page and Twitter feed.
Loyalty program members are also becoming more creative in how they use their frequent flyer rewards, says Sojka.
While some collectors hold onto their rewards with a specific destination such as Paris in mind, he says, there are others who use their rewards to make their vacations more luxurious - perhaps by staying at a five-star hotel.
They are also in the center of a national discussion about early learning. Politicians across the country, including New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and President Barack Obama, are jumping on the pre-k bandwagon, saying it is a crucial and cost-saving investment in education.

Fung shares first day lead at PGM Maybank Johor Masters
The 22-year-old local hope shot seven birdies against a lone bogey on
his last hole at the Johor Country Club to put himself in position to
win a first title on the Asian Development Tour, which is the feeder
circuit to the established Asian Tour.
Newcomer Murillo also enjoyed a strong start as he carded eight birdies against two drop shots to share first day honours with Fung, who had finished runner-up in the previous ADT event in Malaysia.A group of families in a north Cork village are suing a bestplasticcard operator in a landmark case.
American James Bowen, who is leading the ADT Order of Merit, and Malaysian veteran Rashid Ismail are tied for third following rounds of 67 while Chinese Taipeis Hsieh Tung-shu and Englands Grant Jackson are a further shot back in the RM200,000 (approximately US$65,000) tournament which is co-sanctioned with the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour.
Fung, who earned his Asian Tour card from Qualifying School in January, opted to play in the Maybank Johor Masters this week after missing three straight cuts in Malaysia, Thailand and India on the main Tour over the past three weeks.
He was delighted his decision paid off with a solid start in Johor. I wanted to play in Malaysia to build back some confidence after missing three straight cuts. I hit it good today and made some putts. The irons were working well, said Fung.
The highlight of his round came at the par four 12th hole when he missed the green and his ball ended on the fringe of the jungle without a sight to the flag. However, Fung amazingly chipped in for birdie although he was disappointed to bogey the demanding 18th hole which would have given him the outright lead.
I got lucky on 12 as I couldnt see the pin from where I was. Somehow, I managed to chip the ball into the hole for birdie which was a bonus as I was staring at a bogey, said Fung. 18 is a very tough hole and I didnt hit a very good chip and just missed the putt.
Wolmer, who missed out on his Asian Tour card from Qualifying School, thanked a hot putter for his good round. I just dropped a lot of birdie putts which was nice. The greens were rolling really good and I took advantage as I hit almost every fairway and green in regulation, said Wolmer.
Unlike Fung, Wolmer finished strongly with two closing birdies. The last birdie was good as I had 203 yards into a difficult green but I managed to hit it to about three meters and made the putt. It was a very fast putt, he said.

Overturned Vehicle In Texas Shuts Down Stretch Of State Highway 161
At least two people were killed and about three dozen were
hospitalized after a charter bus careened off a Texas highway and
flipped onto its side Thursday, drawing a large emergency response as
rescue crews struggled to reach victims inside, authorities said.
The Cardinal Coach Line bus was traveling just east of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Irving when it suddenly weaved across the busy highway, struck a concrete barrier and toppled over into the center median, witnesses said.Cheap logo engraved luggagetag at wholesale bulk prices. The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
"We ended up swirling and weaving and then ended up on the side," passenger Daniel Risik, 73, told The Dallas Morning News. "People were screaming and hollering, a very traumatic situation to say the least."
The bus, which was carrying about 45 people, was headed to a casino in Oklahoma, officials said. Risik said most people aboard the bus weren't wearing seat belts.
"People were piled on top of each other," he said. "It was unbelievable. A lady had pinned me. Rescue got there and started pulling people out of a roof emergency hatch. People were hollering, screaming, there was blood all over the place. It was unbelievable."
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Lonny Haschel confirmed that two people were killed. About three dozen people were being treated at local hospitals, many of them suffering from fractured bones, hospital officials said.
Emergency vehicles could be seen swarming the bus as it lay in the grassy center median along the President George Bush Turnpike. Ladders were being used to pull passengers from some broken windows. Witnesses said one person appeared to be pinned by the bus which picked up passengers in Fort Worth.A group of families in a north Cork village are suing a bestplasticcard operator in a landmark case.
A man who answered the phone at Cardinal Coach's offices in Mansfield,The 3rd International Conference on custombobbleheads and Indoor Navigation. just south of Dallas, confirmed that one of the company's buses was involved in the Irving accident. But said he didn't have time to talk because he was trying to gather information about the crash.
Cardinal Coach has reported no crashes in the last two years that resulted in deaths or injuries, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The company operates five buses and employs seven drivers, records show.
Law enforcement officers were interviewing bus passengers and other drivers who witnessed the crash. Haschel said he had no immediate information on where the bus trip originated.
A spokeswoman for Baylor Medical Center in Irving said 13 patients arrived at the hospital following the accident. When describing the location of the problematic howotipper. Officials at Las Colinas Medical Center in Irving confirmed another six patients were there, though details weren't immediately available on their conditions.
Another 11 patients were transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital, including the driver of the bus, and another victim was airlifted to a fourth hospital in critical condition, hospital officials said.
On Monday evening, a motorist reported that a small male child was walking on US 281 carrying a portable house phone. The motorist stopped and put the child in her vehicle and called police. When deputies arrived they searched the area to attempt to locate where the child belonged. The child could or would not tell authorities his name or a parents name. Finally, officers located a residence where they thought the child lived. No adult was home when officers made entry into the home. Over an hour passed before the mother of the child showed up. She had been shopping at Walmart. She was placed under arrest for Child Endangerment and Resisting Arrest and transported to the Archer County Jail.
On Tuesday morning, a leaseholder on a piece of property off FM 2178 reported that several head of cattle keep getting out on of an adjacent property and damaging his property. The reporting person said that he had contacted the cattle owner several times to fix the problem but the cattle owner has refused to cooperate. A contract cowboy was summoned to impound the cattle and the owner was notified to fix his fence and the location of where the cattle had been taken.
Later that afternoon, officers responded to a Lake Kickapoo residence on a disturbance report. The reporting party told officers that she had let her daughter move in until she could find a place to live. She said her daughter and granddaughter had been having parties at her home and she did not approve of their behavior. She gave her daughter the money to move out and now says the daughter is trying to take some of her things. Officers arrived on scene and directed both parties to return items to each other that did not belong to them. The issue was settled and the daughter has moved out.
On Wednesday morning, an Archer County resident reported that someone had charged approximately $1600 on her debit card at a San Antonio Walmart. The resident advised that she had used her card the day before at a Wichita Falls Walmart. She was notified by her banks fraud department about the charge in San Antonio. If at all possible, DO NOT hand your card to a cashier or other business employee when making payment. Use the machine provided if at all possible. Miami and The Sea of Misfortune
The Dark N Stormy is single handedly the most significant vice for
influencing my agreement with Dr. Bobs terms to come to Miami and peruse
the islands. Predominately doing so as I lower my inhibitions, sipping
from a Collins glass with a secreting lime wedge on top, while staring
off of our balcony trying to count and compare the number of tiger

Bacardi Select had turned the trick so to speak, a house favorite, and a giant jug of dark rum that had been rolling in the trunk for the past two weeks as Diego and I sped along highway 460 in a fit of commotion for spring weekend at the university. Dr. Bobs brainwaves were losing their compatibility with words to represent real meaning. He broke into hissing laughter and remained wordless with the gap of his mouth wheezing, with a banana in his hand to serve as a pointer in a demonstration to compare the diverse ratings we gave for each bottle. Regardless of his limited vision with color or depth perception, Dr. Bob would not be able to read a straight line on the labels for the rum names, referring only to Great Dismal Virginia rum as swamp gas.
But our hero of the story, Dark N Stormy, planted the doctor in a pivoted delirium, as he began talking to President Barack Obama on the telephone, which was formerly his pointer banana, about reaching the pinnacle of the evening.
To properly make, mix: two shots Goslings Black Seal rum, one shot of freshly squeezed lime juice, half a shot of sugar syrup boiled in water, shake with ice and strain, and top with Goslings ginger beer. The lime wedge is a complimenting garnishing, as is a crazy swirly straw to uptake the flavor.
On this day henceforth the Dark N Stormy is the allure of traditional tastings and momentous gatherings, a mood swinger and kicker to trite cocktails at hack conventions and spiked punch bowls at juvenile banquets. And speaking of which, it was quite the reason for the three of us to self medicate with the stormy remedy from a room the size of a postage stamp on a ship of a thousand lights moving at 20 knots across the water.
Ive made a point not to refute the credibility of journalism by the use of over simplification, but lets not waste time with spacious descriptions, as a cloudy head full of rum bothering with minute details can lead to dry spells that preside over the important task of reaching our table in the main dining ballroom. Dinner consisted of a first course of red lobster tail, snapper, and most importantly a bottle of Estancia Pinot Noir. It was replaced in a matter of milliseconds by a Jameson whiskey. Gone.
The waiters were sure to be left uneasy, sea urchins were aboard and spiking orders with mixers and chasers of large quantities of alcohol in toxic proportions from the cellar inventory. Just the few of us were bound to be known as swatters, these swindlers ruining the beneficial free enterprise of food if only not for us balancing the cost with our own checks and balances.

Norwegian Sky will just have to cut its losses during a case of risky emergency evacuation and leave the doctor stepping with his cane on a tilting ship, running his hands along the wall like hes reading braille, using the rest of his senses to accommodate when the lights go out.
Diego and I sickly delighted our aptitude for the seventh floor casino, commandeering more drinks and drifting about as on lookers in a circle of hell, where the only similar feeling is being in the presence of a pest living in your home with its fleas roaming around on the carpet. Im inclined to off putting statements when vitalized by a rotten, blotted reverence from casino partakers despite really never getting to know them. Maybe its the empathy I have for the custodian during closing time, filling his dust pan with filtered butts and ticket stubs. Or it could be the sly eyed sphinx with implants blowing smoke rings around her table, and all the resounding impressions from a world of cruise ship gambling, commercial airlines, fake tans, expensive jewelry, plastic surgery, cell phones, social networks and switchboard operators all currently prevalentIm no being of righteousness and in all reality not someone infatuated with contempt or bedridden with malice, but for all intents and purposes its worth noting the feeling in my stomach and giving some explanation to why I think my dinner is coming up.

New Mobile App To Allow Motorists To Pay For Street Parking By Phone
Bloomberg and New York City Department of Transportation Commissioner
Janette Sadik-Khan today announced the start of two pilot programs
allowing motorists to pay parking meter remotely via smartphone apps and
to view real-time curbside parking availability within the Belmont
Business Improvement District in the Bronx. The parking payment pilot
allows motorists to pay for metered parking via a smartphone app,A group

in a landmark case. the internet or by telephone for 264 spaces along
18 block faces, as well as at the Departments Belmont Municipal Parking
Field. This system, the latest in a series of advances to improve the
ease and efficiency of parking in New York City, comes with no
additional fees for drivers or changes to parking rates, and allows
motorists to forego credit card or coin payments at meters as well as
the use of paper receipts.
The technology also will warn motorists when their time is about to expire via e-mail or text messages, and allow them to pay for additional time easily and quickly, up to the posted time limit. Interested motorists can sign up for the service for free on the PayByPhone website and register their license plate numbers and credit card information on encrypted servers and download the PayByPhone app.
The parking availability pilot, a partnership between the Department of Transportation and vendors Streetline, IPsens and Xerox, uses innovative sensors embedded in the roadway to produce a real-time parking availability map viewable on the internet,A parkingmanagement is a plastic card that has a computer chip implanted into it that enables the card. smartphones and tablet devices. After reviewing the map before starting their trips or working with a passenger, motorists can head directly toward blocks with available spaces, reducing the time needed to hunt for spaces and the associated congestion as drivers circle for parking. Mayor Bloomberg and Commissioner Sadik-Khan were accompanied at the Arthur Avenue announcement by Belmont Business Improvement District Chairman Frank Franz.
Today, were launching a pilot pay-by-phone parking initiative along 18 metered blocks in the Arthur Avenue Business Improvement District as well as an online parking availability map for the area that motorists or passengers can see on the web and on their smartphones, said Mayor Bloomberg. These new initiatives are just the latest examples of our work to bring parking and driving in New York City into the 21st century.
Parking is easier and more convenient when you know where to look for a space, and when you can pay with a click instead of fumbling for change, said Commissioner Sadik-Khan. Innovative technologies like these can help make one of the basic facts of city life a little easier while making our streets and commercial districts even more accessible.
Technology should help make our lives more convenient, and todays initiatives do that by simplifying the process of finding and paying for metered parking spaces, said Chief Information and Innovation Officer Rahul Merchant. The pay-by-phone parking pilot and real-time parking represents cross-agency, cross-platform coordination at its best.
Using smartphone apps to simplify New York drivers daily lives is another step to New York City becoming the leading digital city, said Rachel Haot, New York Citys Chief Digital Officer. The City continues to champion the employment of new technology to make life easier for New Yorkers and this pilot pay-by-phone program will help to do that by transforming parking in New York City.
After parking, motorists who participate in the PayByPhone pilot can then simply scan a QR code or use near field communication at Muni-Meters in the pilot area to load the PayByPhone app and pay for one or more fifteen-minute parking periods up to the maximum duration allowed under local parking regulations. Motorists without smartphones can pay from any touch-tone phone by dialing the toll-free number and entering the number of the nearest Muni Meter, which is clearly marked with a seven-digit identification number and visible from a distance,A carparkmanagementsystem is a plastic card that has a computer chip implanted into it that enables the card. allowing motorists to pay without even approaching the meter. After payment, motorists will receive a confirmation via e-mail or text as well as warnings before purchased time expires, and they will be able to purchase additional time and extend their parking periods, making it easier for motorists to avoid parking tickets for expired time.
The real-time parking map, now available on the Department of Transportations website and on Streetlines Parker smartphone app later this spring, uses state-of-the-art sensors installed last year at no cost to the city in the roadbed along portions of Arthur Avenue and East 187th Street to detect the presence of a parked vehicle and wirelessly transmit data. The real-time map shows a color-coded display indicating the likelihood of finding parking on each block within the pilot area, which drivers can use to minimize the amount of time spent circling blocks and looking for an open spot. On these blocks, individual parking spaces will be marked in the roadway, increasing the accuracy of the sensors, though the map will not direct drivers to specific spaces within an individual block, given the high-parking demand in the area and the passage of time between checking the map and arriving at a destination. As this and the PayByPhone pilot continue, the Department will solicit feedback from users on how and when they use the services and how well the payment process and the parking map have worked for them, and will continue to work with vendors to refine both programs.Shop wholesale parkingassistsystem controller from cheap.

It was a sublime goal and in the 56th minute the Stallions went ahead for the first time, when Rufo Sanchez was played in on the right and the deflection off Chad Goulds boot took it past Cuaresma.
Loyola almost equalized when Jeong cut back for Matthew Hartmann on the edge of the area, but he clipped the ball just over the bar. Then Jeong had a chance in the 65th minute, Mark Hartmann slipping in the Korean winger in acres of space, but he scuffed the effort at goal without even troubling substitute keeper Wilson Munoz.
Munoz was at the center of controversy next as he flew out of goal to get to the ball ahead of James Younghusband, his boot so high that it almost hit Younghusband in the face, instead cutting his arm due to the stud. Then after remonstrating with the referee, Munoz fell to the floor, holding his back, and the referee gave the free-kick to the Stallions to the fury of James Younghusband as the keeper went unpunished for what looked like an intentional high boot to his head.
Jeong Byeong Yeol was stretchered off with what appeared to be cramps, and Matthew Uy made his first appearance for Loyola after going on loan from Global C an interesting switch as he was rumored to be going to the Stallions. But Stallions had the next chance, as Rufo Sanchez dragged the ball wide, with the goal gaping from ten yards out.
